ONCOLOGY TREATMENTS
For both options there are only a couple of details about your cancer treatment that I need to be made aware of:
Brachytherapy where the implants are still radioactive- this unfortunately will mean that the treatment will not be able to take place.
If you are currently undergoing treatment using the following treatments, I will need to be aware of so that I can take some more precautions but it will not prevent treatment.
Thiotepa Methoxotrate Cytosine Cyclophosphamide (CP) Cytoxan
ONCOLOGY REFLEXOLOGY
ONCOLOGY MASSAGE
This treatment has been specially designed alongside oncology specialists and patients to ensure that anyone being treated for, living with or recovering from cancer, receives a massage treatment in a safe and meaningful way.
Using a light touch massage technique (on the back, legs, arms, face and scalp in the 60 mins appointment or on an area of choice of area in the 30 mins option) with specially formulated oils suitable for use during and after cancer treatments. The treatment can be tailored around your needs spending longer on areas where needed or omitting areas that you would prefer not to have done. If there are any issues in laying in a particular way, we can work around this by using bolsters or positioning you in a different way or by using the Hydrotherm” massage system. (“this is only available in clinic and not mobile)
